I really liked the Carbon Academy, which comes with the games.
The best bit was the bit with the banana game itself. It really opened my eyes to what has high co2

i love the book – why is the game so very expensive? i will never be able to persuade my trust to spend that much sadly. It looks absolutely fab.

Hi Trevor
Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in our games. We also love the book too.
We have found that perception of our prices varies but we’ve also had customers say that they think what we’re selling is cheap for what they get.
We only sell games with access to the ‘Carbon Academy’ which is our 3-5 hour online training platform which helps to train facilitators of the game up so they use the game well with players. In the Carbon Academy, we’ve condensed down 8 years of experience of playing the game with others, along with resources, so that those that buy the game can then train others to facilitate the game too. So it’s a kind of ‘train the trainer’ package with everything you need to support others to facilitate the game well with players. It isn’t like buying a copy of Trivial Pursuit although it might look like a standard board game.
So £199 (+VAT) for nearly a day’s worth of (8+years) expertise plus a physical game and a book is in many people’s views a pretty cheap package. It also helps us to meet all of our costs and continue to help others to have positive climate conversations.
