It’s not the size of it…
it’s what you do with it that counts…

As we are at the end of the Valentine’s week I imagine this is not the first time some people have had this conversation since Monday!

Anyway, for those of you who know me, I’m sure you already know I’m talking about your carbon footprint! What else would I be talking about?! 😉

Just in case you hadn’t noticed, Armageddon is beckoning in the shape of a climate crisis which we’ve all ignored because of the health crisis. Climate is now getting higher up many people’s lists… and if today’s storm is anything to judge by we’re seeing the evidence of global heating all around us.

But what does this have to do with how big yours is?!

The new sustainability mantra is that the climate crisis is for everybody to tackle so why not start with your own life choices and carbon impacts? But how are we going to measure the damn thing?

If you’d like the simplest [and in our view the best] carbon footprint calculator, look no further than the WWF Calculator. It’s been around and improved upon over decades. It takes just moments to complete. You don’t need bills handy and within less than 5 minutes you’ll have an answer on the size of the thing…

But what to do next? As I started this article with, its not the size of your footprint that matters but what you do with it…

At Future We Want, we don’t like making the climate emergency scary or boring… so if you’re looking for fun ways to engage yourself, your colleagues or anyone else and learn a bit about carbon footprints along the way, then check out our small bananas game or big bananas game.
